Q01Do I need to make a reservation?
Yes. Please make a reservation through our website before joining the tour.
Q02Is it okay if I don't speak Japanese?
Yes! Our tours are guided in English, so you don't need to speak Japanese.
Q03Can I join the tour alone?
Yes, of course! Solo travelers are welcome.
Q04 Does the tour operate in the rain?
Yes, our tours normally operate in light rain. Please bring your own rain gear, as raincoats and other rain gear are not provided.
In heavy rain or unsafe weather conditions, the tour may be cancelled. We will contact you in advance if we decide to cancel the tour.
Q05What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations and rescheduling requests are free of charge when made at least 24 hours before the scheduled tour start time.
Requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled. Guests who do not arrive by the scheduled start time are considered no-shows and are not eligible for a refund or rescheduling.
Guest-requested cancellations due to rain follow the same cancellation policy. If the operator cancels the tour because of dangerous weather, no cancellation fee will be charged. If heavy rain affects the tour, changing to another available date may be offered.
For severe weather or other dangerous conditions, we aim to notify guests by 8:00 PM on the day before the tour.
Q06How far in advance can I book?
Reservations may be made up to one year in advance, subject to the dates shown as available in the booking calendar.
Q07How do I pay for the tour?
Please pay online by credit card when making your reservation. Supported card brands are shown during checkout.
Q08 Are there any age, height, or weight requirements?
To participate in our Kyoto bike tours, all guests must meet the following requirements:
- Age: 12 years or older
- Height: 150 cm or taller
- Weight: 104 kg or less
- Must be able to ride a bicycle confidently
For safety reasons, pregnant guests are not permitted to participate.
Q09What bicycles are provided?
We mainly provide quality cross bikes. An E-bike upgrade may also be available for an additional fee when booking.
Q10 Can pregnant guests participate?
No. For safety reasons, pregnant guests are not permitted to participate in our tours, regardless of their cycling experience.
Q11What happens if I'm late?
Please arrive at the designated meeting point before the scheduled tour start time. Tours depart on schedule. Guests who miss the departure are considered no-shows and are not eligible for a refund or rescheduling.
Q12What if I damage a bicycle?
If your riding causes damage to a bicycle, such as damage to the side stand or frame, you may be charged for repair costs depending on the circumstances.
